I really don't notice any stuttering at all.
It runs way smoother than it did on 10.12.
I don't think I notice any difference between my hackintosh and my rMBP with Iris Pro. If anything the MacBook is laggier.
On my system the most recent drivers and the fixup are performing extremely well and buttery smooth.
Haven't had that smoothness since I got my 1080 Ti.
But I still got some issues...
There is some color corruption here and there which I don't really care about.
When I turn off both of my...
I had the same problem when updating from .104 to .159.
Try booting in Single User mode and touch /S/L/E and /L/E.
Also try disabling SIP when booting. That should fix it.
Soooo...
It just happened again. Just 2 days this time.
Now it's starting to bug me...
Chrome lost it's extensions.
Mail accounts and Spotify got signed out. After restarting, both were signed in again.
iCloud got signed out and required me to sign in manually again.
Very strange. I'm...
I haven't actually done anything about it.
Since it only happens about once or twice every 6 months, it's just not worth the time to search for a solution.
I have already googled a few hours and couldn't find any possible fix so I'm just living with it...
UPDATE:
It just happened again...
I have dual booted quite a few times the last month or so and it never happened.
Regarding the NFS driver. Nope, I'm not accessing my OS X drive from Windows, just the other way around using TuxeraNTFS.
I'm not doing anything special in Windows, just some .NET development. Most of the time I'm...
So...
It just happened again. After over two months without any problems.
I was just coding in Visual Studio, Windows 10 and rebooting to OS X and it occurred.
I just don't get what's causing that problem and why it is always corrupting my Chrome profile.
After reading a bit through system.log...
Just remove "nvda_drv=1" from your clover config file if it is present in the boot arguments.
For simplicity I would recomment loading it with Clover Configurator.
@mrcoloman
It's at least a bit calming to know I'm not the only one with that strange issue...
But nope, I'm just using Intel Ethernet.
I don't think it's related to the dongle. When it happens next time I'm going to check the Kernel log, didn't think of that when it happened the last time.
I'm experiencing some strange bugs in OS X Sierra since some time and would find it very nice if somebody knew an answer to that problem.
When I was booting Sierra today, my Apple Mail prompted me to re-enter my password for each of my mail accounts and my Spotify and iCloud were also logged...

I was coding in Windows yesterday and shut down my PC when I went to bed. When I was booting Sierra today, my Apple Mail...
You are right. Yesterday I tested playback with mpv again and noticed, that my CPU utilization rises a bit.
I didn't notice it earlier as SVP can still use Pascal GPUs for accelerated frame interpolation.
Atm I don't really watch HEVC as long as YouTube won't support it.
Let's see if...
Wait a minute...
Why is the h/w accelerated playback not working?
What do the NVidia drivers do differently to the drivers shipped by Apple?
When I was watching a blu ray with mpv a few days ago, everything was working as expected and it didn't really hit my CPU any harder than before with my HD...
How would you install drivers for a Core Audio compliant device?
There aren't any available.
I don't remember how I fixed the issue back then and don't even own the same system anymore.
