    Just got the Magic Trackpad!

I updated to 10.6.7, but no help. So I purchased a Gearhead CA1150, and still no help. The device is found, but no special two fingered features! Can anyone help? Edit: It was USBOverdrive! I had installed it when I was playing with another mouse last year, and had removed it from my System...

    Just got the Magic Trackpad!

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I have a question. I'm running 10.6.6, with a DLink DWT-1020 and now have a magic trackpad. I'm unable to get the multitouch features working on it. I've installed the Apple Multitouch trackpad update, rebooted, and no dice. I still don't have multitouch...

Have a dead 21" iMac G5 want to put a hackintosh inside

Have you made any progress on this front? I have an Intel Imac with a bad graphics card (which means a bad $500 logic board), and am thinking about using it as a hackintosh case. It doesn't look likely, but I'm silly and tenacious.

Geekbench, is this a okay score?

I get 9083 in 64 bit mode with a bunch of apps running, including vmware. Not too shabby.

    Codeweavers/Steam problems

So the fix is to have the video cable plugged into the port closest to the motherboard. Good to know. Now I have to figure out why Stalker's mouse control is so hosed.

    Codeweavers/Steam problems

Has anyone gotten any games in Steam in Crossover to work? I've tried two known working games for crossover (Red Faction and Stalker), and I get audio from both, but no video. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm running a Geforce 9500 GT on a Gigabyte board. Thanks.

Do you own a real Mac?

Started with a Mac Mini G4 (probably a month before they went to Intel, the bastards!), and the halo effect took over. I then purchased my Macbook, and eventually sold the Mini to a neighbor. The Macbook led to an iPhone 3g, and I picked up a G3 iBook for my step-daughter. She used that for...

Mac Pro 2009 Audio Update 1.0 - DO NOT INSTALL

Ok, so no reply. So the next natural thing is to restart the whole process, because nothing I tried in this thread helped. So, am now trying with the new beta CD, and we'll see you in that thread. Oh well.

Mac Pro 2009 Audio Update 1.0 - DO NOT INSTALL

I deleted them from /System/Library/Extensions, then did the previous run-through (Kext Helper/Kext Utility), then repaired disk permissions in disk utility, restarted, and same problem. When you say, "delete them and run the 10.6.2 combo updated again.", which 10.6.2 combo update do you mean...

Mac Pro 2009 Audio Update 1.0 - DO NOT INSTALL

No love. I dragged (drug) AppleHDA.kext and IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext from the 10.6.2 Vanilla Audio Kexts to Kext Helper b7, put in my password, and it finished, telling me to reboot. I closed it, then ran Kext Utility, which took a few minutes, and reloaded the cache. I rebooted, and still...

Mac Pro 2009 Audio Update 1.0 - DO NOT INSTALL

Help! I installed before I saw this thread, and I haven't had sound since! I'm on a Gigabyte p55m-ud2 as well. I'm following the threads here, and for the most part, it's working like a champ! Please help me get working sound. I'm guessing I need to do something with those 10.6.2 Vanilla...
