I am not really sure how to do that. The only bootable USB's I have made are the ones for installing Mac OS like Unibeast. I generally don't update so I've never had to do it.

I finally found a guide to disable secure boot. Essentially you delete a secure boot key and when you reboot secure boot is disabled.
