In menu's and loading a map everything seems fine. When loading a map I get up to 380FPS. But as soon as the rendering starts: 30 - 60 FPS. I have tried some AML's I found on here specifically for VEGA64 (like the performance enhanced SSDT for Radeon). They seem to raise FPS from 30-50 till...
Yo, sorry for the late reaction. I was really busy and am battling an illness at the same time :O.
This is also when using the SSDT yes :)
(Also somehow I don't see Verbose anymore on first boot and my monitor blinks a few times but doesn't go one really, then it reboots and suddenly I see...
I am trying to set up Planet Coaster for my niece, she likes to play it when she's here xD. It just runs about two to three times better on windows. I tried CSGO as something that would always run great on this system, but it's super bad. So I guess there is something going on with 3D...
Everything seems to work, except 2 small things. I haven't tested GPU performance in 3D applications yet though.
The only thing still happening is that my from top 2 usb 2.0 ports don't show up in the OS (Hackintool), but when I put a drive in there I can see it on my desktop and I can enter...
Aaaah that is a whole lot! That is quite some practice right there ;)
That would be awesome! The Vega performance is still meh, but maybe I should figure out if it's the given application first.
Would you suggest to switch to another SMBIOS for my system?
Oh my god, I am so ashamed! SO MANY mistakes crept in while I was tinkering like a mad man trying to figure this out! It's sometimes so frustrating, so you start clicking away and making mistakes  (p.s. be sure to scan point 7. really fast ;) )
So nice of you to put so much effort in...
Yes :) All three of them in the attachment. I scanned all SSDT's and the DSDT and GPP0 is ONLY in the DSDT and the pcidevices.txt. There is nothing about it in ANY of the SSDT's. The same applies to GPP1. If we move on, GPP8 is in SSDT 5, 6 and 7. These SSDT's, DSDT and pcidevices.txt are also...
hmm... I will try with a VM first, if that doesn't work I will try to setup a dual boot with a different disk because that is safest.... I'ld rather just split the volume and merge after though... Should be able to do so. I don't trust Mac with these processes however xD
Think that'll run with windows in a VM? I prefer not to dual boot. Or can I split off a section of my SSD for a temp windows install and later return the split-off section back to the macOS drive?
I would like to disable it as a whole since I might want to rule out the RGB controller f.e. causing problems. The support for RGB software on Mac is very limited (peripherals are meh, but internal hardware there is nothing, I think because of how hard it is to do it on Mac) from what I can find...
P.S. I updated to Ventura and it also doesn't fix sleep...
I also think the PTXH denominator in the previous wakeup instance I gave you might be me pressing the keyboard after the sleep/wake that happens anyway (Goes to sleep, hear a click from PSU powering down, immediately click from PSU...
Your assumption is correct, I am not using PCIEX4 slot. Of the slots on the layout I only use the top one (PCIEX16) which has my Vega64 in there. The M2A_CPU slot holds my 980 PRO, the M2B_SB slot holds the 970 EVO (which has macOS on it).
Oke, I thought it was strange I couldn't find GPP0...
Set NVMeFix.kext to False in config.plist, didn't change anything. You won't believe I NEVER thought of removing the drive (xD). So I removed the drive and the issue is still there. However, something strange going on. IOReg doesn't give me a GPP0 entry when I search it, however when I check the...
One is an internal USB HUB (HS06 @ PTXH) so that helps ;)
I am mapping them now. Though the ports I removed at first now have different names. F.e. POT2, POT6, PO9, PRT1, etc. Can I just rename them in Hackintool? Yes right?
Then this is my end result: I can't for the love of god figure out...
I will redo this tomorrow and then take your advice at heart :) I will try sleep function again afterwards and then see what gives :). Here is the full log as from going to sleep until I wake it up out of the sleep cycle loop.
2022-09-26 22:35:45 +0200 Sleep Entering Sleep...
Yes, the other funny thing is that my 970 EVO is all a Samsung M.2 Drive and it's not doing the wakeup calls. It's just the 980 PRO, or maybe I don't see them yet since the GPP0 is first ;). The 980 PRO on the GPP0 address is connection straight to the CPU in the M2A_CPU M.2 socket. The rest is...
