so i tried using rboot and got the following error after selecting the usb option
"magic number could not be found"
then it kicked back to the chimera selection screen with my 10.6.8 and usb options
not sure if anyone has run into this problem or not with unibeast. made usb and selected it on boot: boot screen

mobo: p55m-ud4
ram: ddr3 gskill ecos
graphics: ga silent cell
dvd/cd: sony optiac
hdd: samsung spinpoint 1tb

thanks for all the recommendations i think that ill stick with the GA-p55m-ud4 (pretty sure its 889a codex i must look for) the dvd drive is something i didnt decide on but its not really a big deal i can make a last minute decision on it (use hd's and gmail for most data transactions) i did...
