Hello there!
I've built another hackintosh, same motherboard and CPU as the one I have now. Everything works fine with the same EFI folder but the CPU on the new one, my 13900KF refuse to go further than 3Ghz in macOS. (same BIOS version too).
It does work fine in Windows, and also on my main...
Hi,
I solved the issue by buying a PCIe adapter card and a flexible x1 PCIe.
Recognized natively without any issue. Universal Control works fine. The M.2 thing was just a nightmare to deal with.
I was kind of afraid of using it. For now, it does work and benchmarks tend to confirm the performance boost.
I will get using it for now and see how it handles the music workload I'm about to throw at it. I will keep you posted.
I do. I'm using this one...
I created the current USBMap, but it was in Catalina. I have an external bootable backup of Catalina right before the upgrade to Monterey. I will try doing the mapping in Catalina again today.

I don't use sleep at all (as I cut the power of my whole studio at the end of the day). I can't try the sleep feature yet as I'm working on a musical project this week. If I have time, I will give it a shot.
I've started tightening my memory timing. It does increase a bit of everything.

Still have a full day or two of tweaks and I should be pretty much set!
Oh, I didn't know about this one. Thanks for sharing! I was just making my own using the CPUFriendFriend script. I will try it right away.
Also, I don't mind having lesser single-core performance. I'm aiming for a good balance between power consumption and performance (trying to run a silent and...
