How is this done exactly?
I've tried different methods and searched for an app as well.
No luck.
I have three Windows Versions on my PC and forget which one is which at times. Can't differentiate by same icon with same name "Windows"
Does anyone know how to do this precisely?
Thanks

SOLVED with
renaming the SSDT-4x0G2b.aml specifically
EC to EC0
XHC to XHCI
EH01 to EHC1
EH02 to EHC2
Then delete the above written patches from config.plist ACPI>Patch
Opencore takes care of the renames with Lilu.kext combination.
Also delete the below:
HDEF delete the patch from...
Yes you put ssdt_data.aml as replacement to SSDT-PLUG.aml if running Opencore and CPUFriendDataProvider.kext
like the attachment.
The same for Clover. Clover doesn't use PLUG SSDT method. Uses Plugin-Type
Quirks config.plist take a look for Clover, make sure you have good working clover first before switching to OC. that way you can compare and make the necessary changes. I have Clover 5139 running good.
Make sure you have SSDT-EC.aml and disable renames for EC0, EHC to EHO1 and 02, IGPU...
Issue with EC and EC0 when turning off the rename in config.plist from Rehabman's Project build and using SSDT-EC.aml I lose battery notification and Trackpad.
When enable the rename of EC0 to EC, the battery returns and the trackpad works. But the issue with this rename is a not go causing...
I'm having issues with CMOS resets when running Big Sur with Opencore.
I tried the DisableRTCchecksum in Quirks, that didn't help. Then I tested with RTCMemoryFixup.kext and the method in boot arguments. That didn't help. I'm wondering what other issues would cause the CMOS reset as the...
For those having issues with high cpu and power usage, on HP Probook Laptops, 450G series install CPUFriend.kext. It helps in more refining power management. May work for other HP Laptops as well.
Make sure you have Lilu.kext installed as CPUFriend.kext is a lilu.kext plugin.
Hope this works
that's where it stays bud. mine stays around there as well, it is the idle position. the cpu for mine is 2.20Ghz. it drops down to 1.29Ghz to idle. If needed turbo kicks in to over 2.20Ghz tops at 2.70Ghz, but usually you can run it over in the 3Ghz range if you keep it cool with serious...
Here are some shots.
First you have to get into Security menu as show below in the first photo.
Then enter into the Menu.
Then find Fast boot and see if it is shows hidden.
If it does press enter and change to View or Change --whichever works out then-- save and go to boot options to check...
Have you tried you BIOS updates? try each one until the grey out gone.
Also did you undo Security? So you can make changes and they stick?
you have to undo Security first then you should see this option as normal
just read the instructions carefully twice or more and don't miss any steps in...
Anybody got a fix for USB 3?
I was reading Rehabman's post about not using USBinjectall.kext as long term.
Also do not need USBX.aml is what I read?
UIAC.aml seems to work but splits to USB2 and USB3. Oneside runs 2 and the other side 3 which is not desired.
Anybody know how to correct this...
I read where in OC 6.7 can use the built in Intel Wifi/Bluetooth combo Mini-PCIe with three kexts and Apple Secure Boot. Seems like FileVault?
Here are the kexts any one care to indulge and get the results to post....
Hi Hawk
I have HP 450 G2 running Mojave at the moment, and Rehabman's 4701 Clover boot config.
I just got this to work about a week ago.
I wanted to upgrade to Catalina first before going to Big Sur.
I tried once to remove all of Rehabman's install but failed.
Do you have a way to do this...
Ibiza
Who's Voodoo are you using? RehabMan or Acid?
UPDATE: I just updated to Catalina and on boot using Rehabman's Voodoo the bootup process investigates
the kext for it looks like compatibility, security? About a few seconds. Don't know if this is good or bad at the moment as I disable...
