I was having the same issue @jimbojingle described trying to upgrade a clone of my current boot drive (Ventura) to Sonoma. I can confirm the upgrade goes smoothly and fast just disabling “SecureBootModel” as @CaseySJ suggested
Hi guys, just wondering if it's safe to upgrade to Sonoma directly from Ventura 13.6.5. My use is mostly video/audio editing (Adobe & Resolve).
Is there any changes needed to be made to the EFI folder (last EFI that CaseySJ posted, updated with Hackindrom) in order to update the system...
Hi everyone, I've been working flawlessly with the Hackintosh I built four years ago, thanks to the wonderful guide that CaseySJ shared here with us. Today I've upgraded my i7 10700K Intel processor to an i9 10900K, and it's working just fine; I'm running Ventura 13.6.1 with the latest OpenCore...

2. USB 2 devices not working...

Boot time: 1 min. aprox. (1 TB WD Black SN750 NVMe)

I've updated OpenCore to the last version and...
Hello, a newbie user here. After 12 years of using MacPros (1,1 and 5,1), I decided to get a Hackintosh due to Apple's high prices.
I would like to thank CaseySJ for this wonderful guide, I was able to install everything without a problem. I've been doing my usual video editing work on my...
