@coscos , looks like you have great results! I'm familiar with the HDMI audio issue, got it fixed some OSX versions ago but never got it working again... I want to upgrade to Mojave now, can you share your Multibeast settings perhaps? Thanks, much appreciated!

    open source G5

You are right, so far I noticed only when I was mounting the PSU. It's quite heavy, luckily it doesn't cover a big surface and there isn't much material left on the sides before mounting it. But it bended my acrylic a bit indeed. I want to believe that for every problem is a solution ;) I've...

    open source G5

Thanks a lot for the input. Cable management is added to the list. Can't miss the cables when you look at the picture but it still missed at the list. An modular I/O Panel is really the easiest way to go, maybe also the best as well. We will find out. The goal where I started with is only...

    open source G5

Right now they are "floating" more or less... I had to make the holes bigger for this first prototype to measure everything. The solution I have in mind, comes with the next update: open source G5 beta 1.1 ;)

    open source G5

The PowerMac G5 was announced for the first time in June 2003. It was the first 64-bit consumer-level desktop computer ever sold. A real workhorse housed in an innovative new Aluminium enclosure. Just look at it, more than ten years old and it still looks stunning! It’s a great piece of design...

Wouw, that's some answer! Thanks a lot for all the effort you put in already! I was hoping to have a little tweak on timemachine would do the job, but I found out that time machine isn't capable of that, also timemachine isn't very smart to copy only the stuff you used the latest.. There...

    Case mod competion

There is an reason everybody stuffed his pc into a G5.. It's just a beautiful, minimalistic, case. It's the most modded case ever because of that. I understand that you get bored by all the G5. But i think the part of a G5 you should mod is the inside, make that part your own!

Another G5 Case Mod, with some useful resources

Very nice, I like the your way of precision and "respect" for the existing design of the case. Only thing I ask myself, don't you think have to less room for the pci slots? With a big graphic card and wifi card everything is almost full..

Another G5 Case Mod, with some useful resources

Great work sheriff, Also like it that you are willing to share the dxf file. I'm planning on start a same project only than with laser cutting. Because I think it is cheaper, faster, more precise, and I think more people can laser cut than cnc. But I have to say, with cnc you have many more...
