Okay thank you very much and BigDonkey too. One more thing, will deleting the extended partition delete my windows 8 aswell ? Because if it will, im propably better preinstalling everything with GPT/MBR partition scheme, right ?

So now, i have a 300gb external hdd that i can use to backup my lion partition to. But what do i need to do ? Do i need to delete one of the partitions so i am only left with 4 ? And then create a new hfs partition and clone ml to it ? I would be grateful if you can give me a step by step guide...

The usb is unplugged when I test. And of course i restored boot0 to disk0s5 and not disk0s2 :) Looks like we are running out of options :(

Installed Chimera using ProBookInstaller 6vb12, restarted and it just says boot0:done and boots straight into windows 8, any inputs RehabMan ?

I found this in the forums, and its what lead me to believe that chimera can't be installed on the HDD, are you saying that this is false ? And thanks for all your work here RehabMan :)

But I'm using a MBR partition table, isn't this a no-go for Windows 8 and Chimera ?
