No, none of the instructions mentioned it (or I missed it). I installed 2.2.0, it loaded, but stuck at spinning gray screen. It least it's progress.

I'm noticing many threads posting about not being able to boot after an upgrade. I'm having the same problem from a new install. I can see the HDD as either UEFI or P2 in the boot menu, but always get the following message after selecting either one:
Reboot and Select proper Boot device...

I was able to get to the install screen by using the -x boot option, but since I have to format a SanDisck 120GB SSD, disk utility only showed the USB thumb drive. I'll keep trying other options and report back.

Thanks for the feedback. I purchased all of the parts last night. I upgraded the processor to an i7-3770 and the power supply to a modular one as my discount went away on the the other one.
