No issues at all...just updated my 8 year old machine Dell Inspiron 3521 with no special efforts...but update took longer than previous one,that’s for sure (I’m using OC 0.6.0):thumbup:

Recently shifted to Opencore but faced similar problem;then I discovered problem was because of IRQ conflicts..then I apply SSDT-HPET with its OC specific patches and everything's works fine now...I highly recommend Opencore,not a single crash since conversion and that too with SIP fully enabled

Can you tell what exactly you did for your audio to work because I have similar ALC282 but couldn’t find any solution for catalina so I’m using voodooHDA now
