I have a Ranger VII and had same message. Try copy the file in the attachment to Volume/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched and boot again.

Did you copy SSDT-EC.aml to Volume/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched on the USB stick ? That worked for me
