Yes, there is no problem with cpus, the motherboard is usually the problem. But I would choose a 9900k as it's more modern as has the same amount of power and better contrasted compatibility.
I tried in the past with Clover, I get a more than acceptable success with a minor things not working(typical as wifi, brightness shortcuts ...) but as my main daily driver I don't want to put it in a danger situation
I want it for coding tasks and working with emulation and virtual machines. I already usea a laptop with the same cpu and it rocks, but miss Mac OS when I had my Mac Pro
Ouh yeah! that's really great to know. I'm debating to build a sff pc or getting this one. The sff is a little bit better in terms of scalability but I don't really know If ever will need it. #lifeishard hahahaha
Could anyone post a full log from AIDA64? Removing serials of course, I would love to study and question a few buddies about an OpenCore method for this machine :)

Hi people, looking to get one of these, probably with the core i5-8300H to fit my wallet and because I already have a laptop with an i7-8750H and is more than what I really need for my coding tasks. I guess the procedure should be the same, isn't it? The Vorke V8 package and Gitbud repositories...
