Well I do not use sleep at all on my computers (my macbook is the only exception), but this issue irritates me. And the most weird thing is that it is clean reboot. It is not CMOS reset. The kernel exits cleanly and with verbose i can see that the log ends with MACH REBOOT. That means sleeping...
Well, I have found out what is the problem... it restarts (cleanly, not hard reset) after waking up...automatically...might be because I am waking it up by pressing the power button... gonna look into it and will report back

I've finally managed to get everything working on this machine except for one little thing with waking up. System sleeps just fine (auto sleep also works), but after waking up, it shows the login UI, hangs...
I think easiest option now would be to reinstall OS X and in MultiBeast select userDSDT/DSDT-free option and see if it works. But if you do not want to, have you tried booting with the iBoot CD or the CD that booted your install ? The DSDT is not important right now.
