I do actually have paragon and can read Mac files I saved some of my important files today. I'm going to try to reload El Capitan tonight as a fresh install. Thanks for the help.

Thanks wild willow, I do have Windows 10 on another drive in the same system. I can try working with the kexts that way or will this work at all?

I'm running Yosemite and I tried to install over it with El Capitan USB stick and failed. Now I can't boot up at all. I used UniBeast 6.20 to build the USB and loaded El Capitan but now it won't boot at all.

I installed OS X 10.9 and all is well.But... My build is identical to: wildwillow's Haswell Build: GA-Z87X-OC - i7-4770K - HD4600+GT 640 I took the drive out and put in a new drive and loaded win 7 Ultimate. I put the OS X drive back in along with the Win 7 drive. Windows 7 boots fine but...

Ok, I went to get the Mavericks but it wants to install on my real Mac. Any way to just get a download? I can't use maverick on my real Mac because my Avid Pro Tools audio doesn't support it. I've got a DVI monitor I can use.

This is a new build. I'm using the GV-640OC-2GI graphics card with the VGA. Same one you have. I don't have an HDMI monitor. It's Mountain Lion 10.8, I think. I had Lion installed and when MT Lion came out I bought it. Is there a way to get around this?
