So interestingly enough I'm having trouble with Wake on LAN enabled - the computer will sleep for <5 minutes and wake up again and then won't sleep again on its own. I can put it to sleep using the apple menu just fine but it won't sleep on its own timer generally.

I have you beat by almost $100 on price with a much more powerful GPU and twice as much RAM, but I realize most people can't replicate that unless they have a Microcenter nearby. Nice build.

Re: Super budget build: GA-H61M-DS2 + i3-2100 + SL? I strongly dislike Lion and think 10.6 is an objectively better OS.

Snow Leopard is a royal pain in the ass to get working.

Sigh... I can't even get to the SL installer; though I'm trying to do it off of a USB drive.

Did Apple get rid of that horrific mission control stuff in Lion and revert back to SL-style expose/spaces or is it still in there?

Anyone know if 10.6-style 2d spaces are finally back? Or is Mission Control still a disaster?
