Succeeded with 18G87, but only after I disconnected every other drive. Could not install the Mojave update when there were other drives present - it terminated with a message "Unable to install Mojave as other resources could not be found", after messing with the boot partitions of the wrong...
I'm stuck on Version 10.14 (18A391).
It keeps asking me to install "macOS 10.14.6 Update". When I do it shows an Apple icon along with "Installing ...". But when I reboot, I am still back at 18A391. I've tried verbose mode, but it scrolls too fast for me to read and it doesn't pause on any...
Gigabyte RX 570 4GB Gaming Edition works in Mojave with the "DeInit" checkbox ticked in Clover options. Reported accurately in About This Mac. In 10.12.6 it also works, but reported as RX xxx.
I tried RadeonDeinit=true via the boot command line, and it didn't work.
I've since confirmed that InjectATI isn't required, but doesn't appear to hurt.
DeInit from the Clover options is the magic ingredient that made my system boot. Presumably it does something similar to RadeonDeInit, but at...
I think I have mostly solved this (or at least half way).
In Clover when booting I selected InjectATI and DeInit in the options menu, and it booted successfully.
About this Mac is still reporting AMD R9 xxx 4096 MB, so perhaps there is still more to do. But at least I now have a booting system.
I am at the latest 10.12.6, without Nvidia drivers installed. EFI contains WhateverGreen and Lilu.
With the 1050 Ti card installed, I can boot normally. Only one screen is active, it is low-res, and a bit flickery. But it works. As expected without Nvidia web drivers.
Exact same system, but...
I think so. But I'm not seeing any difference when I boot with and without Kexts. And I am trying to insert Kexts like WhateverGreen etc.
At the moment, I can run 10.12.6 from before Security 2019-004 (restored from backups). After installing Security 2019-004, I can only boot in safe mode...
Has anybody successfully installed Security Update 2019-004 10.12.6? (released 22 July 2019)
I installed it with Nvidia 1050 Ti graphics, and lost high-res/multi-monitor support.
I swapped to Gigabyte RX 570 graphics (I got sick on Nvidia driver issues), but it glitched the screen and crashed...
What version of clover should I use if I wish to dual boot Sierra and Mojave? I also had problems with Clover 5000, thinking that updating to the latest version would be a good idea.
And am I the only one without drivers for a 1050 Ti on 10.12.6? My system auto-installed a security update...
