    [SUCCESS] jbarnette's Build - ASUS TUF Z390 M Gaming + i9-9900K + Sapphire RX Vega 64 8GB + 32GB RAM + MacOS 10.14.3 w/ USB3 working!

Yeah, me either. Using the exact EFI / config you sent me. Does the fact that DisplayPort doesn’t work on my GPU narrow anything down? Only HDMI is working on the Radeon VII.

Swapped in the updated config. Still no dice. Were you able to learn anything from the boot video I attached?

Disabled iGPU + swapped system to iMacPro1,1 Same issue unfortunately. I've attached a video of my boot output. Hopefully this helps.

Confirmed Radeon VII is on the latest FW version (which supports UEFI). Still no DisplayPort video at all. Swapped in the new EFI Folder you attached. Same thing, video cuts out eventually during boot (using HDMI). Still seeing the gIOScreenLockState 3 message btw.

I've attached my EFI folder. Going to double check the Radeon VII is on the latest firmware revision. CSM is already disabled. Thanks!

I figured. Installing 10.14.6 (latest Mojave release directly from the App Store). I was using HDMI. Switched to DisplayPort. No video whatsoever with DisplayPort (however HDMI still works up until the video cuts in and out).

@pastrychef Just tried booting with the Radeon VII. Instead of the video being completely gone, it seems like it's turning on and off endlessly. Just a black screen with my monitor turning on, then immediately telling me "no signal", then tuning off - on repeat. Last message I saw in the boot...

Will try this when I get back to my desk and let you know if it worked! Thanks for all the help!

@pastrychef I can try to use the Radeon VII. Figured it would be easy to get rolling with the onboard graphics. I guess maybe not. Any specific config changes / setup needed to get the gpu working, or should it just be plug and play?

@pastrychef Thanks for the quick reply! I swapped in the config you attached. Same issue. Video just cuts eventually. Last line I saw in the verbose boot log had to do with ethernet I believe (if that helps - seems unrelated). Connected to onboard HDMI.

Been struggling with a similar build for a few days now: - Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming - Intel i9 9900k - 32GB DDR4 Corsair Memory - AMD Radeon VII (as per OP, I will install the card after I get macOS up and running) Following the same process as OP. Banged my head against the wall for a while...
