also disabled WOL in the nic bios...

Ok no kernel panic, crazy white static noise for few seconds now grey screen with cursor..... ok now got the installer... will keep posted :-)

Hey all
I have some issues getting the NUC D54250WYK to boot to the installer with 10.9.2 / Darwin Kernel Version 13.1.0 - Boot flags -v UseKernelCache=no
I get a kernel panic every boot.
Tried multiple times with different...
Awesome build! I found that my geekbench score was horrible in mac os x when I first built my hackintosh and it was because I was using the iMac system profile from multibeast (ad the guide told me) I was getting around 4/5k :-/
So had a look around and people were saying change to the macpro...
Just coincidently i have had a quick peruse of the links you gave me and some people on there are stateing haveing exactly the same issues as i am with geekbench and graphics choppyness. Im going to MacPro3,1 and re test :-)

ohh really? Well i used imac 12,2 for my build which was advised in Frostcall's guide for my software and he got 9k+ score. hm... Ill have a play with some settings tonight and see if i get it higher. Ill post up my findings here.

Morning All,
Yesterday I recieved all the parts for my CustoMac build. I followed frostcall's build to the T in build threads and did everything i needed to bios/update wise. OS X its self seems to run ok BUT...
I have 2 issues:
1) Boot time is very slow... alot longer on the apple logo...
