    Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6

Interesting, I was using a spinning disk... Swapped to an SSD and tried the method I described above and now all I get is booted back into the OS and the update won't apply. Very interesting/odd. Wow, ok... Never seen this before. When I booted using clover it gave me FOUR! HFS drives. 2...

Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6 and GTX 1080 woes and fix.

I thought it was applehda.kext at first, but after a few more installs and different multibeast options I found that the applehda was not the cause and it was the multibeast option I selected that did not like working with the applehda. I've gone through so many iterations I forget exactly what...

Performing now on the wifes machine, will report back shortly. Went fine. Update said it would take about 30 minutes to complete, took about 5. Went from System Version: macOS 10.14.3 (18D42) to System Version: macOS 10.14.3 (18D109)

Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6 and GTX 1080 woes and fix.

Since you took a time machine backup before performing the steps above, there is zero risk of trying this method. You can always go back to a known good using Time Machine if for some reason you get hung up. If you open terminal and type in the below command you should see that you are now on...

No onboard Audio Detected. High Sierra 10.3.16 with 2019-001 Security Update (Sound worked prior to this). I tried the following guide, but it never worked. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-multibeast-audio.246618/ This is what worked for me Prior to Security Update…...

Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6 and GTX 1080 woes and fix.

Let me start off by saying I thought this update would be simple... NOT So! I basically kept getting a reboot loop or a 100% looking progress bar below the black screen with the apple logo and nothing would ever happen. I knew it was tied to the video driver so I tried a few different methods...

    Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6

Does anyone know if this update has been rolled up into the new 10.13.6 installer/download? Disregard, checked the apple store and it says the last update was 6 months ago according to version history.

    Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6

Interestingly enough I was googling and found nvidia drivers for the new os update (17G5019). Might be worth changing to default video drivers, reboot. Then try applying the update. If update works, next step would be to apply the below Web drivers... Though these drivers dont look like they...

    Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6

Ok, I am back... Still the same deal, it basically hangs at the apple logo. Interesting thing is that this time when I went to do a restore it did show a few new timemachine snapshots with the newer versioning... Showing the process of what happens with pictures below. I restored back to the...

    Security Update 2019-001 10.13.6

I just tried this update (App Store) and after the 3rd reboot I would get an apple logo and 100% loaded bar but no progress after an hour. I used time machine to get back to pre 2019-001 10.13.6 update.

    GTX 1080 and Mojave

Thanks, I am now on High Sierra. It still didn't want to work due to the latest High Sierra build not liking the drivers. I ended up having to use a shell script to trick the version info and then use Multibeast and select Nvidia Web Drivers. I rebooted and now High Sierra works as it should...

    High Sierra build 17G66

Yes, also 17G66. Here is what my extensions for GeForceWeb look like. What I did to finally get it to work was... run the following shell script. bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113 Reboot Download the latest Multibeast for High Sierra. Run Multibeast...

    High Sierra build 17G66

Well, I decided to try using Multibeast again... After using Multibeast and selecting the Nvidia Web Driver from there and rebooting I am now all good to go! Back to normal screen resolution again!

    High Sierra build 17G66

I am having the same issue... 17g66 build does not have Nvidia drivers that work. I am on 10.13.6. I have tried both scripts available and it DOES add the Nvidia control panel, but I still get flickering and stuff. Plus it doesn't recognize my card properly. Basically the same issue I was...

    GTX 1080 and Mojave

Ok, this is a new install... I will re-install High Sierra and see if I can get the drivers to work there. This hackintosh is great besides the video issue. I used to have an AMD card and never had to mess with the video stuff as it was natively supported, after 2 years running on high Sierra...

    GTX 1080 and Mojave

Would I be better off going back to High Sierra? Would the web drivers work there? I have never had any luck in High Sierra either. I had to use this method in order to get the drivers installed as I would always get an error from web drivers in High Sierra stating the drivers were not...

    GTX 1080 and Mojave

Is this pretty normal after installing web drivers? I have tried manually installing the web drivers and then tried using the shell script installer and get the same results. The other issue I am having is I own a 1440p monitor, but it's defaulting to 1080p. Thanks in advance!
