Can confirm that the OWC TB3 10gig adapter supports AVB.

Correct. Only certain Intel NICs, such as the i210, have hardware timestamp support. (Don't think the Mac i210 00driver has support- my MacBook w/Caldigit TS3+ doesn't support AVB) I have this Sonnet card (uses Aquantia chipset that supports hardstamps) and it shows the AVB/EAV checkbox.

Oh sure, wait for me while I am miles away from my Hackintosh (or even my laptop with a VPN back home). Not sure if an unlocked MSR 0xE2 has anything to do with VT-d working. I will say that I have CPU-Type set at 0x1009. Will have to see if behavior is the same when it’s set at 0x1005 (per...

 Yes, worked fine on the Z390 Pro. Just did it to avoid the PM patches. setup_var makes the change, no need to flash. Simply rebooted after that, iirc. Maybe a power cycle. Before writing the new value of 0x00 I verified the initial value of 0x01 by typing setup_var with only the...

I followed the guide here: https://github.com/acidanthera/AptioFixPkg/blob/master/README.md#verifymsre2 I prefer not to have patches if I can “simply” enable a hidden BIOS option.

Just on a lark I tried enabling VT-d on my Aorus Z390 Pro (removed dart=0 and didn't drop DMAR) and it booted fine and seems to be stable. Not sure if it matters, but running F9 BIOS and have MSR 0xE2 unlocked. iMac19,1 under 10.14.4 18E2034.

I installed the version of VirtualSMC that was in your archive. Wouldn't there by a conflict with installing the release version since it has the SMC kexts as Plugins within its bundle?

VirtualSMC now supports Z370, Z390, & X299 Fan RPM and more!

Thanks for your efforts. Reported fan RPM seems accurate. It'll speed up under load and my missing fan shows up as 0 RPM.

iStat Menu- no fans, but additional CPU info HWMonitor (from FakeSMC)- no fans, but some additional CPU power consumption data, not all populated. HWMonitorSMC and HWMonitorSMC2 (from HWSensors-3)- Shows fans TG Pro- shows additional CPU temps; shows Fans, but still has Fan Min/Max as -1/-1.

I'll open her up later today and check, but AIDA64 under Win10 reports the IT8688E and IT8795E. A Tweaktown review also confirms those two chips. FWIW, I'm also running iMac19,1 and Mojave 10.14.4 18E2034. Adding the efi didn't change the result. I didn't have SMCHelper.

Half works. No fans in iStat. No fans in HWMonitor from FakeSMC. TG Pro shows fan entries and RPM, but has "-1" as min and max fan speeds.

Great outline of potential issues switching to iMac19,1! I downloaded the special build by using the installinstallmacos.py script. It errored out but I manually added my current Board-ID to the supported list in the file throwing the error. (forget which one) This allowed the script to...

No fans showing on Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro. Looks like my board doesn't use the Nuvoton, but uses ITE models (IT8688E and IT8795R) which aren't supported yet.

iMac19,1 just got added to the Clover Beta 4918 earlier today. It works but requires some acrobatics to manually update your config.plist and also download and install the special 10.14.4- 18E2034. It'll be a little easier once Clover Configurator is updated, too.

Try making the change to your install USB and boot from that. Clover should let you select your internal drive to boot from. Then you can make your changes.

Try removing AptioMemoryFix-64.efi from /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI and use OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi instead, adding slide=0 to your boot args. You can find more details in the first post.
