I am currently using All eight of my Sata ports to create a 32 TB SSD raid in an IcyDock. I have looked for an M.2 to SATA adapter but I am unable to find one that works on the sage/10 G. So I thought I would try using the USB 3.1 GEN 2 header on the motherboard to connect my boot drive...
Well I’ve gone through and tested several different versions of BIOS, and I even completely replaced the motherboard with a brand new one. Yet, I’m still able to use the USB ports, and I have only been able to re-create the problem that @kgp pointed out about missing the entire XHCI ACPI table...
@djlild7hina
This is the ioreg after enable 4g decoding in bios. I now have the USB ports back and fully operational. Thanks!
@kgp suggested that the Bios Firmware is NG. What version bios are you running?
I will try that. So I am using this Norco RPC-432 4U case and it has One USB 3.0 front port, one USB 2.0 front port connected with a header to the USB3.1 Gen 1 connector.
I have a strange issue here. I only have the USB-C functioning not the USB2 or USB3. Fortunately the USB-C works and with the Cable Matters USB-C Dock so I have keyboard and mouse working. After attempting to install the Alpine Ridge and then taking your advice above, I have removed the...
I am now working on adding the Alpine Ridge card to my system. I have installed windows and installed the Alpine ridge driver but it does not appear to be working.

First of all let me say how deeply I’m grateful for all the help here.
I assume this means I need to do this on a working Windows machine. I’m just curious if there is a way to do this entirely on the Mac.
Thanks for the reply, I will definitely do that next time. It won't be unit Friday now. It happened with more than one thumb drive and in no particular port. At first I seemed like it just my front usb3.0 port because it was ejecting properly on the back usb ports but eventually it failed to...
Thanks again! This one shows the slot-4 just as you intended.
I am having one problem with the USB.
When I try to unmount the USB 3.0 thumb drive sometimes it umounts with no problems but sometimes I get a beachball. I have tried relaunching finder but finder stops relaunching after clearing...
You are amazing! Thanks so much.
What was wrong with the BR1? How should it work?

I replied today! Thanks my 10 G onboard is now working. I am now working on audio.
