Help!!! When I changed to MONTEREY, the GPU's DISPLAYPORT stopped working.

Starting from OC0.7.4(or maybe Whatevergreen 1.5.6 is the cause), things are getting a little bit odd. I did some testing on BigSur 11.6, after upgrading OC from 0.7.2 to 0.7.4, I could not get a display out any more with the agdp flag still present (the situation was quite similar with that on...

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

Oh well, thanks for that info. I don't have a Navi10 card anyway, so I really don't know much about the situation. The only thing that I have learned from my build is that using agdpmod=pikera or not makes no difference for my RX6800 in 11.1. OS could boot, no acceleration, system info shows...

Actually, it was by 10.15.1 (approx. 3 and a half months after the release of the cards) when Apple added official support for the first-generation Navi Cards. More info: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/macos-10-15-1-update.286059/...

[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

Currently I'm using the Type-C port on RX6800 FE to drive a LG Ultrafine 4K. The interesting thing is, when I use a USB-C header, the display works fine (both on Windows 10 and macOS Big Sur); but when a Thunderbolt 3 wire is used, there is no display. So, I suppose that port is a micro-DP & USB...

Success - Installed Catalina 10.15.0 Supplemental Update Using Open Core

It seems like iMac SMBIOSs are more likely to cause black screen scenarios while configs using MacPro SMBIOSs are unlikely to experience that in a Catalina update. What' s more, I highly suspect this issue has something to do with whatevergreen, because I got no more black screens after I...
