<< Solved >> Process "com.apple.parsec-fbf.flush" on Catalina 10.15.2 prevents system from sleeping automatically.

If you already have Siri disabled and do not intend to use it, why not just launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.parsec-fbf.plist

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

Hi guys, one year after my first successful Hackintosh build with the config presented in this thread, I updated from Mojave to Catalina. Everything seems to work, but I have two weird issues: 1. The loading bar right before the Catalina desktop presents itself (white loading bar on black...

Happy New Year, guys! I’m back from the holiday season and was working on macOS as well as playing on Win10 and occasionally experienced (rare but annoyingly noticable) freezes / kernel panics. After running memtest86 I’m now pretty certain that these hickups are not related to the SDSD that...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

How ironic. Just one night after I posted that everything was working flawlessly, when I woke up my hackintosh from sleep this morning, I got kernel panics that didn't stop. The first kernel panic occured about 2 minutes after waking up the hackintosh for the first time today. After each...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

I'm home at my desk and continued working on my hackintosh dual-boot + Win10 setup. I decided to go with a iMac18,3 SMBIOS definition, and, now, after I sorted out my remaining issues, I want to give all fellow hackintoshers a quick overview of all the problems I had lately. This is mainly for...

File Vault is working just fine. Actually literally everything is working without a problem now after I got USB charging to work. I’ll upload my EFI tomorrow when I get back home.

Even though on my first restart I got a kernel panic (I guess this was due to a removal of the USB cable connected to my Apple Magic Keyboard 2 while in the FileFaul2 Prebooter), I can confirm, that this method is working (I'm on AORUS Gaming 7 z370 with BIOS V7 and Mojave 10.4.2 with an...

Thanks for your great effort you've put in so far!! Sure our Hackintosh is no genuine Mac, though it should be easily able to provide at least the current defined by USB specs. That being said, let's take a look at how the current on a genuine Mac looks like in System Information...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

My issue, that using the above mentioned / attached USBPorts.kext, all ports are max 500 mA, even the USB 3.0 ports. From my understanding, with this kext, I don't need any more kexts such as "USBInjectAll.kext" or other fixes, right?

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

I tried every USB Port, including the red 3.1 one as well as the 3.1 Type C with an USB-C to USB Adapter from Apple. None of the ports is supplying enough power for the Apple Super Drive :/ If it's working for you (thanks for checking that out!), maybe the port mapping is not correct in my...

As far as I can tell, your USBPorts.kext (iMac18,3) is working well. All of my USB-Devices are working using any port of the machine. Unfortunately though, my iPhone and iPad are only charging very slowly. Is there a fix for that? SysReport for my iPhone says while being connected to the...

Thanks, for pointing me at Newegg. Never heard of it before. Ordered a new Gaming 7 now. Hopefully their info was accurate and there are still some left in stock. If so, it should arrive within the next 5 days here in Germany :) FYI, for anyone else, on the hunt for that MoBo: It’s not being...

[Motherboard] Alternatives to GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7

Unfortunately, none of these options is reasonably shipping to Europe. There might be the Gaming 7-OP available in Europe though. Would that be an option (i.e. will it identify as Gaming 7, when the Optane-SSD is removed - if possible)?

[Motherboard] Alternatives to GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7

Hi guys, I'm new to the community and unfortunately, I'm in desperate need of help. It's been a few years now that I built my last PC (almost 15 yrs now :-O), but since Apples Setups (and prices!) are ridiculous, I am eager to start building my own hackintosh. Since I wanted to have both, a...
