Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

In the end I had to use -lilubetaall Overkill possibly but it made it work finally. I also had to put in the appleIGC kext because blocking the ioskywalkfamily kext killed my ethernet. Took weeks off and on but we muddle through right. I'm on 14.5.2 now. I changed to imac 19,2 from macpro 7,1...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Here you go https://satechi.net/collections/keyboards-keypads I got them from a shop down the road (Chch New Zealand) but this is the manufacturer website. They've got a heap of Apple replica stuff (or even better) at great prices.

Catalina on Asus Zenbook Pro UX580GE

I just fumble around until it works lol. So I tend to get some double up kexts and pointless kexts. My sound is working fine btw. I spend weeks trying to use this guide https://voodooi2c.github.io/#Installation/Installation and gave up in the end. It didn't help. So I dumped the dsdt and all...

Catalina on Asus Zenbook Pro UX580GE

Thanks. My trackpad works for a few seconds and then stops. Have you tried opencore? It was easy on my desktop but the Laptop was resistant. I never tried too hard though.

    VoodooI2C Help and Support

There's the Touchpad (screenpad) HID/GDX1505&Col02 Theres the Touchpad (screenpad) display HID/GDX1505&Col05 Theres the Touchscreen HID_DEVICE_UP:000D_U:0004 In the Matching device ID field. It worked again this morning (cold start I guess) for about 10 seconds. Does this show up in the debug?

    VoodooI2C Help and Support

Touchpad is still not working, but I'm happy with the touch screen and a good start on a working DSDT :) Thanks for your help sir. I'm sure I'll get there eventually and you've saved me many hours of work. Just for the record I restarted a few times and debugged them all, the 22 entries never...

    VoodooI2C Help and Support

Got the 22 I2C entries on the first reboot. Thanks again for your time! Hopefully we can get a good DSDT for the coffee lakes out of it.

    VoodooI2C Help and Support

I've just noticed, all this is GREAT for my touch screen. I'm getting 2 finger scroll, 3 finger zoom etc which I didn't have in the past, but my touchpad is still dead lol. And we've lost 20 of the 22 voodooI2C entries.

    VoodooI2C Help and Support

Lol I'm a 60yr old Architect. Wouldn't have any idea how to do those things I don't have a DSDT in patched but I'll attach my origin folder. I appreciate this.

    VoodooI2C Help and Support

Thank you so much. I appreciate the time you put into helping me :) I've made the changes you suggested which should hopefully give you more info on the VoodooI2C. This debug is without the mentioned kexts and with no SSDT or DSDT.

    VoodooI2C Help and Support

I'm stumped. I've gone over the installation and GPIO pinning instructions many times and made all the required changes, so I thought, but still no trackpad. It does work for a couple of seconds after a reboot but then nothing. It's an Asus, ETPD, with pin no 71 - 0x47. I've attached the...

[Guide] Asus Zenbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Yes the M.2 drive it ships with is no good for Macos and there is only space for one M.2 drive. I got a 2tb 970. NOT the 970 plus ok. The wifi needs to be replaced and is easy to do, but I'm just using a USB one for now. RAM is soldered and can't be replaced. The trackpad worked for a few...

[Guide] Asus Zenbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Just the resolution you see on the screenshot. I don't have a 4k screen to try it out and when I plugged my 3440x1440 Dell into the USB3 port it worked, but had artifacts.

[Guide] Asus Zenbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

There's no cases of anyone being able to use an Optimus discrete graphics card, but for some reason it's showing up in the system report (see screenshots). So it might be possible and I'm feeling optimistic that it will happen one day, but I haven't had time to explore it fully. I have tried the...
