I also have a feeling that the terminal might keep the disk locked and ejecting is failing. Do not pull on the usb stick until it was appropriately ejected :)

Quick update on this build. Most of the challenges I've had were with the USB stick so far. Moved onto a new USB stick but latest unibeast wouldn't see high sierra. Moved onto unibeast 8.3.1, but .efi file wouldn't copy. 11/15/18 17:47:07 - Starting UniBeast 8.3.1-20180412 11/15/18 17:47:41 -...

UniBeast: Install macOS High Sierra on Any Supported Intel-based PC

BTW, the latest unibeast will not see high sierra installer. The page comes up blank. The instructions says to use the latest, but unibeast for high sierra should be used. Can we update the instructions? Also note: 11/14/18 17:30:04 - Starting UniBeast 8.3.1-20180412 11/14/18 17:30:36 - Copying...

Ok, looks like I got it to see the USB stick as boot drive. Tested with windows USB stick and was able to fire up the installer. Tried with Mojave full installer, but still getting Error loading operating system. Will dig in some more.

I suspect the source of the os to be a problem. Can I get a fresh copy of macos .dmg and use that for the stick installation? Also, if we have troubleshoot guides in there, that be awesome.

    My first Hackintosh adventure

Can someone provide instructions on purchasing and downloading a digital copy of OSX to use with the USB installation? I think the version of Mojave I have will not work and I would like to have a fresh copy for this build.

Updated the build specs: Currently trying to get the OS to install and stuck on unable to load operating system. Preparing the thumb drive took well over 45 minutes. Copying took forever :)

    My first Hackintosh adventure

Hey guys, Big thanks to you for firing up this movement. Love every bit of it! I am just about to go shop for the parts. I want a beefed up build for development(Building with xcode 10 on mojave is horrendously slow) If any of you have a ~4000$ build that is stable with Mojave, please share...
