Hi, Running High Sierra 10.13.4 I also have lost ethernet connection, MacOS Network reports as "unplugged" though I'm obviously plugged in. This was sometime after installing the adapter using MultiBeast, which could be a problem - as it was working before. "If it ain't broken don't fix it"...
