Have tried with no midi controller(I got my launchkey mini in home) and everything is fine... vst plugin not tested(not supported by logic?). but AU plugin is working. Mainly use Ableton.. and this is my first time using logic... No problem so far... will edit when I can test midi keyboard.

If by "gaming" you meant GTX version, I think it will work with minor fix,(replace ssd, and patch Nvidia card).. but if you meant the one with true gaming CPU, this post won't work... you can Google another one.

Mi notebook pro have no thunderbolt port...

That port don't work(Blame Xiaomi )... but you can still connect usb bus to that port. You can read from page 40 for more information.

You will need another ssd(new one come with pm981) and native wifi card if you want stable system... about random kernel panics seem no one reported so far so I think there is no issue about that..

All these kexts is mod of base one. I think that with "native" (default?) pm you will get more baterry life as it use hwp (speed shift) so it stay lower clock when idle , and increase clock on demand (more steps than old one?), as it is "slower" compared to previously kexts, steve have...
