Hey Samisnake, you alright? I can get hold of it for £250. The pc which you helped me spec up comes in just at just over £650. Im not sure if the difference in price is worth the extra £££'s, I want to have the pc for sometime as well, so I might need go with the one you helped me with.

This is my final spec. Hopefully I'll be buying this at the end of the month. Thanks to Samisnake for pointing me in the right direction with choosing the necessary parts. Just need to find and watch over some of the installation methods now. :headbang:

Thanks for the reply again Samisnake. The one in the link that the freezer 13 cooler. Had a look for the oem cooler as well but couldn't find it. Does it come with the processor when you buy it?

I'm new here myself, (welcome on board) and i'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will come along soon. But from what I have read on the many post and topics listed within this forum, you can get a lot more power for your £ or $ than you could if you just bought a "real mac". 8 cores wooow

I think i've spec'ed up a suitable system but I'm not sure. I've attached a screen shot of the equipment. It all comes in at £625.15. It that the right equipment I need to get me started?
