I'm just as surprised as you. I did do a fresh install. I removed the EmuVariableUefi.
I did get a random nvme kernel panic. (Yes, I am using an unsupported Intel NVMe SSD, reinstalled to HFS+J instead of APFS though). I'll try out the guide you linked, thanks!
Hi hi,
Here I am once again! I decided to reinstall mainly to ditch the APFS with the countless recommendations to try HFS+J, so I did that. Everything still works flawlessly (apart from the DP issue but I'll look into that myself later, you've done plenty of help to get me started there).

I just tested this with Windows 10 (1803 April Update) and all screens work (even the third). Colleagues that use this laptop also use all 3 monitors on Debian. Just run into the issue on macOS that it sees both DP displays as one (including when my laptop screen is turned off). The BIOS update...
Indeed. The DisplayPort on the laptop itself works properly (however it gets turned off when putting my laptop on a docking station). All docking station ports work fine as far as I've tested. The only issue I have is that the displays are mirrored when using the DisplayPorts (even with laptop...
Yeah, I'm fine with just the 2 DisplayPort displays (without the laptop screen). The 2 displays worked with my ProBook 6560b following this exact guide. Do you think that's a reasonable goal?
I've redone it now. I attached a new zip. I kept 11,1 and Trust being true for SMBIOS. Now nothing else is different in the config.plist (so I kept ScreenResolution as default).
Some progress! It can detect 1 of 2 displays as a 2nd display and it duplicates the other. How can I set it so it...
Hi! I'm back. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get DisplayPort working.
What I tried:
1) Hotplug DisplayPort cables
2) Boot with both displays plugged in (and laptop screen open)
As usual, debug zip attached.
I'm aware. It was leftover of the trial and error I did to see if I could get DisplayPort working.
Thanks again for your help so far. Do you have any sort of donation link/PayPal I could contribute to? You've proven to be an enormous help for everyone here.
Ah, perfect. Thanks. Manage to resolve sleeping by removing igfxfw=1 from boot params and removing custom ig-platform-id which basically reverts it back to your default config.plist for this model apart from SMBIOS.
Again, sorry for the delay but will report regarding DisplayPort etc on Monday
Not getting kernel panic's anymore fortunately but my laptop screen doesn't work anymore after sleeping. Pictures of BIOS settings attached with the debug zip.
Won't be able to test DisplayPort again (with and without docking station) till Monday. Sorry about that.
I see in post #1 that the EliteBook 8x0 G4 support hasn't been tested yet. I followed the guide and managed to get High Sierra 10.13.5 running following this guide. I purchased a BCM94352Z card for WiFi / BT, will report back when it's installed.
Docking station also worked for me!
