Backlight does work better w/ your patch. More linear versus quadratic. Removed IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup as that was causing problems with backlight control. I finally had time to read the script(s) and it gets my approval.

I see exactly what you're saying and do not know what caused that to change. I have not touched that, nor have I seen a patch that's done anything like that. Reverting back to default DSDT. Good catch.

Checking into DSDT now. May be a kext causing that.

1. BIOS does NOT have CSM, but will let you change to Legacy. I do not want to use legacy to boot; I want to use UEFI. 2. Backlight control works. No need to patch for backlight control. As stated in post 16.
