Thank you RehabMan for this guide! After returning a NUC8i5BEH2 not able to access BIOS despite using four different monitors I succeeded with a NUC7i5BEH and your guide. It is my second hackintosh and it was quite easy after overcoming the Intel-related BIOS-issues. This second hackintosh was a...
Just one last update: I returned my Nuc8i5BEH2 because I was not able to open BIOS with four different monitors and with all methods the Intel-community had to offer. I ordered a NUC7i5BNH instead. To open BIOS was not easy (3-sec-Power-button-method + changing the aspect ratio after the menu...
Finally I found out, that the NUC8i5BEH2 is to be reseted by removing the jumpers from the 3 Pins completely. I restored BIOS v.56 with that. After that you put the jumper either to pins 1 + 2 for „normal boot“ or to 2 + 3 for „lockdown“. Neither of those allowed me to access the BIOS. I even...
Well this is what I did (with intermediate booting trials in between): I disconnected all boot devices, I removed the SSD, the RAM one after the other and both and, finally, (I think) I made a CMOS reset with the Jumpers at the MoBo (see picture). I am not sure, if the CMOS-reset was correct...
Thank you for your guide!
This is my second hackintosh within 12 months. My first (free) build went quite smoothly.
But with my newly arrived NUC8i5BEH2 I am not even able to enter the BIOS! F2 simply does not work! I was able to enter the "Power Button"-Menu and to restore the BIOS (version...

Question: Is it possible to take the TB-Drivers of Linux for a MacOS-kext?
Although the install-OSX-at-Hackintosh-routine is much more sophisticated than 5 years ago, the issue can still occur. For me it happened even with Broadcom-Hardware after copying the TimeMachine-Backups of my Macbook Air to the iHac. I followed the old tutorial of u/cobo10201 at...
I can not tell you, what went wrong. Make sure you typed a small "L" and not a capital "i".
I do not understand your remark about "less questions and posts in forum, an lot less angry people". I am not aware of somebody who is angry about me... Can you explain, please?
It might be of interest for some of you to know, that there is a new issue updating newer versions to Clover 4658 and how to solve the issue.
ISSUE:
I had a (almost) fully functional Clover 4630 dual boot configuration to OSX 10.13.6 and SuseLinux. After discovering the potential of Clover...
It might be interesting for you that I have this freeze in High Sierra AND Clover but not in Linux (Opensuse Leap 42; in a Dual Boot System) if I am fast enough to boot into Linux from Clover. The freeze did occur after one week of using High Sierra (fresh install). It is happening approximately...
I just want to share my weird experience. It might help others: With High Sierra 10.13.3 you are bound to erase your USB-stick with "Mac OS Extented (Journaled)" but you don´t have the choice of "GUID Partition Map" as shown in the guide. I did the erase as good as options avaiable.
Then I tried...
