I have been able to flash a new VBIOS to my P50 using NVFlash with no error. I cannot extract using GPU-Z however, so I assume it's the inability to read the VBIOS that prevents this from working.

Awesome. Yeah. A quick rundown on how to get the Vbios to be flashed would be great. Just because no one wants to brick their GPU.

Also, you need to set Vbios to true.

Looking into that now, but InjectNvidia should be false iirc. Try setting InjectSystemID to true as well.

We seem to be having similar issues (thought mine does not display the actual correct GPU yet). I'm assuming your config.plist (not the clean or Intel one) is what you're using. If so, you might want to check NvidiaWeb.

I'm having similar issues to you with my Lenovo ThinkPad P50 w/ a Quadro M1000M, so I will let you know if I come across anything that allows me to boot using the Nvidia card properly.

Unfortunately, I know longer have that laptop. It died on me (mobo failure). The trackpad will never work sadly. It's USB. :( I do remember getting the black screen issue fixed, but I cannot remember what it was for the life of me. Mojave might work better though.

I'll get them to you tomorrow. I haven't really changed anything so far. Still waiting for Nvidia to eventually release drivers to try and mess with anything since it's at a stable state for me. As soon as they drop, I will move to getting them to work and post all of my findings and progress.
