I replaced a bad memory module which was causing havoc. Rebuilt and used DSDT from database Used the AppleRTC_Patched_Lion from cakewalk and checked the restart after power failure, also used IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector but not 3rd party AHCI - sleep working well now. I will post a recipe soon.

I had a similar problem with a Sandisk - used a kingston and it worked, no idea why.
