Hey, I m having the same problem on my LG Gram 2018, it's a slight flicker that's more noticeable when in dark mode. Have you guys managed to fix it? Seems like an uncommon problem in the Hackintosh community.
With me it's not during sleep that the battery drains(the battery stays almost the same while sleeping actually), it's after it wakes up from sleep. After waking up the battery percentage starts to drop a lot faster. The strange thing is that CPU and GPU power management are still active after...
When I wake my hackintosh from sleep the battery time remaining drops significantly, from 4 hours to 2 hours according
to the Activity Monitor. Checking with HW monitor, CPU power management continues to work after sleep and I didn't find any process that could be causing the battery drain...
Tried using the new AML, but brightness keys are still not working :/
Can you post all the kexts you have installed in /L/E so I can have the exact same configuration as yours?
Yeah, everything is installed at L/E now, but I still have one small problem, my brightness keys are not working (the brightness slider is working) and when I try to use them the system freezes for 2 to 4 seconds. I tried using SMEE patch but it didn't workout.
Ok, I followed your instruction and tried with cagalindos EFI but the same power management/sleep problem happened. I saw the keyboard/trackpad were not working with his EFI too so I cameback to your EFI and simply installed voodooPS2controller to the L/E folder instead of loading it trough...
I used the generate tool...I manually added the clover folder, hope it is right now. The problem I faced using your config was a black screen after the boot, if I let it sleep while in the black screen and wake it up again it would go to the desktop normally.
My cpu management works Ok, but after the notebook wakes from sleep it consumes a lot more energy (it goes from 0.7w idle to 1.6w idle) when Idling, reducing the battery time by almost half. I think it is something wrong with my config.plist, because when I used missile's config.plist the...
How can I check if my discrete GPU is truly disabled? It doesn't show up on System report, but is that a good way of checking if it is really turned off?
I tried to correct the problem with the trackpad options but no success. Tapping to click and 3 fingers gestures are working nicely, the only problem is really the two finger scroll. Sometimes it scrolls nicely but when I try to slide quickly to make a longer scroll it barely moves or don't move...
So, altough my trackpad works when I use the voodoops2controller, it feels strange, the scrolling with 2 fingers is a lot worse than the scrolling in windows. Is this how it is supposed to work? Anyway to fix this?
