I was in the same camp. There is an updated kext in Mac 5,1 and 6,1 that has some sort of issue. If you use 3,1 you won't have that problem but you will need to use safe mode to get past your cache.

If you can boot into safe mode than rerun multibeast with you appropriate settings. From there your cache should rebuild so you can get past this (you can have this error and still boot properly so its not a showstopper)
