Hi guys my install fails with the combo update or the software update, But when i restart the computer it says i'm running 10.8.2 but without audio and everytime i try to install the kext with multibeast it says ERROR.

Has anyone installed 10.8.2. I did and got Installation Failed using the software update, but it managed to restart and boot normally now with 10.8.2 even though it said it failed. My only PROBLEM now is that Sound is gone and every time i try to apply the ALC889 with multi beast it fails.

Thanks moarfish!!!! everything works great on 10.8.1 altought i've had some kernel panics when my external drive is making a time machine backup. Had to unplug it and just connect it from time to time to backup.

AppleIntelE1000E NOT WORKING AppleIntelE1000E works perfectly on Lion, but in mountain lion it makes youtube videos load super slow, and most of the time they don´t load at all. Hope there's a new version on the new multi beast... Any fix to this guys?

Using the unibeast method , safari works fine and loads all the videos very fast. But after running multibeast to activate sound and restarting i found that ethernet its gone. I run multibeast again to activate ethernet using Appleintel1000e.kext, repair permission and internet is now working...
