    [Guide] Dell Inspiron 13 5378 (2-in-1) - MacOS 10.12.6

Still can't seem to figure out how to get the touchscreen working on my 5378. Any suggestions are welcome. The only thing I didn't do from the original post is the BIOS hack...I used the work around instead. Could that be it?

What did you do to get the touchscreen working? And, did you modify your BIOS as was recommended by krosseyed? I don't think that's the issue though.

Good point! Actually, if anyone that has a 5378 with a working touchscreen and 10.12.6 I would be interested to hear what they've done. Thanks in advance all! I'm using the framebuffer hack rather than modifying my BIOS like krosseyed. I wonder if that hack is potentially causing me the issue.

Thanks for the advice. I thought it would work given that krosseyed had gotten the 5378 working.

Sorry for the confusion. Graphics are working properly. I didn't think the resolution was adjustable but I'm all set there. Just not the touchscreen. I'll check the touchscreen and report back.

    [Guide] Dell Inspiron 13 5378 (2-in-1) - MacOS 10.12.6

Excellent guide! I'm running MacOS 10.12.6 on a Dell Inspiron 13 5378 i7-7500. Everything works but the touch screen and enhanced graphics. I've deployed the provided kexts in S/L/E and generated and patched the DSDT from my system. I'm not sure what I'm missing...any advice is greatly...
