I myself run thinkorswim on macOS Sierra. If you haven’t gotten this situation fix yet may I ask what GPU are you running? The issues I had were GPU related.
Go with either AMD RX 560, 570 or 580. The performance in FCPX are huge. In macOS Sierra 10.12.6 AMD cards are a lot more stable than Nvidia. I been using a GTX 960 for a while and I switch to an AMD RX 560 and now a RX 580. Big difference.
