"Still waiting for root device". Intel USBs need fix in 300 series MoBos. Try with the below Usb kext in USB Installer EFI (full path in quote). https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-usb-inject-all/downloads/RehabMan-USBInjectAll-2018-0420.zip- coolmyms
