LAN RTL8111 does not work on sierra 10.12.16 yet?

The only thing about LAN i found at the mobo's manual is "Realtek GbE LAN chip" and MultiBeast just gave me three versions of Realtek RTL8111 to choose from.

LAN RTL8111 does not work on sierra 10.12.16 yet?

Found it with the "Go-to" function, did all again. Now it still does not work and when in network-settings it does not show the ethernet at all (it did before), shall I "install" it wiht MultiBeast again?

    New setup buying advice

These are exclusively high-end parts, you can't go really better, so why shouldn't it work. I'd even say it is kind of an overkill...64GB of RAM :D

    Newbie, need advice

Maybe you want to use an i7, there you get 4 cores and therefore 8 threads.

    Lowcost Keyboard

You said old, do you really mean old like built before e.g. 2012 or just any usb keyboard?

    Lowcost Keyboard

Hi Hackintoshers, I ordered all my parts and started building the workstation. I just asked myself if I could buy any regular keyboard or does it has to have those special Mac-keys (command etc.)? Can anyone help me? I don't want to spend much more than 30 bucks. Thanks :)

What would you change in this build?

At first your RAM is faster than your chosen motherboard can work with and I think the CPU-cooler is kind of an overkill if you do not plan to overclock your processor.

Where to get MacOS from? & Hardware check

So my friend will be home tomorrow with his macbook. Anything I have to prepare? I am just about making an Apple account, do I have to prepare the usb stick anyway or something else? Does it matter that he has a macbook and I want to use it for a PC?

Bitfenix Phenom is a second cpu cooler necessary?

If you use the processor normally, without overclocking the standard cooler is enough. On this PC I am using right now I have a i7-2600k with standard cooler and never had problems, even running Battlefield on Ultra settings.

Brand new to building. Stuck on a few things I can't find clear answers to.

I have never built a Hackintosh before, but I'm just starting my first project regarding Hackintosh and I have built some PCs before. There are motherboards with WiFi built in, I am not sure but don't know why it shouldn't work for Hackintosh. Nevertheless I'd recommend you a power-line network...

Where to get MacOS from? & Hardware check

My bad, in the meantime I found the MSI H270M Mortar Arctic and I thought of it.

Where to get MacOS from? & Hardware check

Yeah thanks, I saw it. Somehow I like the MSI more, maybe beacuse of the white colour and white LEDs, but perhaps it's not worth spending extra 13€. The MSI has HDMI, the difference is VGA which no one cares about nowadays I guess. The real difference could be: MSI: Intel I219-V LAN, 1xUSB-C...

Where to get MacOS from? & Hardware check

So it would be the cheapest to take the MSI Z270-A Pro motherboard which has DisplayPort 1.2 and I would be ready for 4K without any graphicscard...?

Where to get MacOS from? & Hardware check

And let's say I want 4K resolution. I gues the integrated 630 from Intel won't do it? Would a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 OC be enough and compatible? It's not for any special graphics work, just regular use of internet and office.

Where to get MacOS from? & Hardware check
