I have a p67a-ud3 with a 2500k running 10.6.6. There is not much difference between 10.6.5 and 10.6.6, 6 just has the app store added. You can go ahead and install 10.6.6.

What is the kp you get? What kexts are loaded, etc?

On boot, at the chameleon boot loader, type busratio=29 and see if it fixes the problem. Have you already tried this?

Are you booting with the kernel flag busratio=29?

Did you use maleorderbride's dsdt when you installed Multibeast? And the busratio=29 will help you out with audio stuttering and graphics.

Read up on a bunch of the posts here. I have a p67a-ud3 board with an i5 2500k. It was easy to set up and snow leopard runs great on it.

I was able to at least get some functionality with an old version of Temperature Monitor Widget. Not as functional as I would like, but I have not been able to find another solution. Anybody have any tips for getting CPU monitoring to work?

Did you install the ALC8xxHDA.kext to /E/E and old AppleHDA.kext to /S/L/E? The safari issue has to do with flash. You can disable the plugin until you get everything installed.

Still no luck for me. Seems to be working for some and not for others.

Are you trying to edit the boot plist in your /extra/extensions folder and then boot with iBoot? If so, the edits won't affect the boot. You need to install multibeast and bridgehelper then boot from the hard drive partition.

Here is the one I am using.

Try to enter busratio=29 at your chameleon boot. It should clean up your audio and video issues.

Are you getting that kernel panic when your try to boot from iBoot or from chameleon? Did you use a dsdt for the install with multibeast? What options did you choose in multibeast?

Just boot into your installation with iBoot and then run multibeast and bridgehelper. Or just bridgehelper if you already ran multibeast.

So it gets to the chameleon bootloader and then you select your os x partition right? What options did you choose from multibeast?

I am running the f6a. Have you tried to change those settings with the f4 bios?

What bios version are you running ? Do you have to run 29 miltiplier(2.9 ghz?)? My board just reboot loops when ever I change to AHCI mode and Hpet 64 bit, until I clear cmos. Very unstable system. I am using the stock 33x multiplier in BIOS. Changed the turbo settings for an easy...

Did you install bridgehelper after multibeast, or just multibeast? It needs the legacy kernel to boot.

That's too bad. It flies on these sandy bridge builds
