That is a very welcome enhancement, will give it a try.
I'm still confused as to how Apple 2017 hardware is KBL with many of the same IGPUs outputting 4K and above @60 (example iMac 18,1). Are they not using the native KBL either at the moment, or also some kind of spoof?
As recommended, will...
Thanks for these suggestions. I'll report back with any breakthroughs. At least i am able to switch between spoof and native reliably. Certainly we'll see others come forward with interest in 4K@60 on NUC7.
Side note... if anyone is experiencing screen flicker / signal drops with 4K@60 on NUC7...
Thanks for shedding light on the SSDT-NUC7.aml. This is my first build, and much is based on reading your guides and trial-and-error.
Yes exactly, it was connected to the HDMI port for a final test when i generated the ioreg. Attached is the ioreg while attached via USB-C (Club 3d USB-C/HDMI...

2) Yesterday i updated using this thread post #1 'Post Installation' for native KBL CPU and IGPU (Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640, Device ID: 5926)...
Yes, 4K@60 working great with SKL spoofing, and i would have expected even cleaner with KBL. Must be something else going on with my config. In the coming days will roll forward to KBL and do a proper Problem Report, much appreciated.
I ran the 'Post Installation' steps again in post #1, and everything was neatly updated, AppleIntelKBLGraphicsFramebuffer loading in place of the AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer, and everything rock solid. The only problem, neither USB-C nor HDMI ports outputting higher than 4K@30Hz. I can see...
Hi Studiox, where you able to get an answer to this?
I have a similar issue, 'Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640' reporting in 'About This Mac', but 'Intel Iris Graphics 540' in 'OpenGL Extension Viewer'. I have made all config.plist changes, so no idea where it could possibly be pulling Intel 540...
