    Yes it is a chip made by VIA, so i believe the problem lies with my motherboard and it not working to full potential, my GPU comes up in the about this mac section although through some testing i do not believe it is working as well, so that is why i would like your help to find my mobos...

    Alright well ill try that but i have discovered that the front line out jack is controllable from within the OS's slider bars, so my guessing is that i need the chipset for the mobo to get the back ones to work.     I can use the slider bar, but no matter where it is it the volume stays at one level, to actually change the volume i have to physically make the speakers louder. Im running windows 7 64-bit on two different drives, also windows 7 has been my primary OS for the past 3 months on this computer...
