This fixed my problem - plugging in to the other HDMI and boom, boots up in 1080.

I tried this, but it freezes on the Apple logo and grey progress bar. Previously, I could boot with nv_disable=1 but graphics were low res. No luck getting the proper 1050 Ti drivers to work. Any ideas how I can revert to previous EFI? I'm new to the scene!
