I went back in this morning and looked at it. Those high numbers must have been a fluke. On Good, with default Good settings I was in the low 100s On Ultra, once again default it was 60ish. Still better than before 10.6.7 where Good was in the sixties.

Just happened to check out my FPS on WoW today, first time since upgrading to 10.6.7 With the settings at max I am getting 150+, in 10.6.6 I was getting mid 60s. Just thought I would pass that around for anyone thinking of this card.

Every time I try a new version of MultiBeast I end up trashing my system and I have to reinstall from scratch using 2.8. On this last attempt, MultiBeast seems to hang ripening scripts and then I get a KP. Any ideas?

I did as suggested and FF seems better. It might have been an extension. I only installed Adblock this time.

I get Firefox 4 crashes multiple times a day. Safari more stable, Chrome somewhere in between. You never know with a Hackintosh whether it's you or buggy software. Anyone else having problems like this?

I installed via the Combo Update and reran MultiBeast. MultiBeast said installation failed and I foolishly restarted. Now I get to the desktop and then it just loops to the blue screen, back to desktop, etc. Ran with iBoot disk and it does the same thing, in safe mode I get to the blue screen...

I completely deleted Extras and used MultiBeast 3.2 today and it works fine. I chose no graphics options and selected Chameleon 2.0 RC5 - ATI Experimental as the bootloader. Currently in 1920x1080

OK, got my new card from Amazon today. Strangely, while the box was the same, the card looked totally different, shorter, had cooling pipes. It works great in OS X and Win 7.

I almost fell for that yesterday and even had two in the cart. The google search sends you to this one but it doesn't have the 4gb of flash. The Amazon one is ST95005620AS but the one you linked to is the ST9500420AS, this is just a standard drive. $70 would be a bargain for that drive.
