Just upgrade to Lion, you will have better luck with everything. My 460 did the same thing, the 10.6.8 update broke the display driver for us I think. But Lion works wonderfully , I have full resolution (1680x1050). Only thing that doesn't work is have 2 GTX 460s :( Also to fix your ram...

Well did you actually install lion with 4gb of ram? I left all 16 in when I installed. I just installed photoshop and it also only shows 4gb of ram available. Maybe I will try resetting the bios once and see what happens.

Figured it out on my own with hours of searching the board for certain commands. If anyone has similar parts of mine, I would suggest to do lion. Its sooo much more stable!
