    After a successful El Capitan build, I decided to try Mojave on this dual quad core XEON E5400 (citrix/supermicro) hardware. P.S. Catalina installed to the end, then error out with "cpu not compatible". The E5400 has SSE 4.1 https://www.intel.com/assets/PDF/datasheet/318589.pdf so it should work...

I installed El Capitan 10.11.6 on this Hardware Supermicro X7DCU, 8 GB RAM, 10-Gb SFP+ card, 4-port 1Gb SFP card, 4-port 1Gb RJ45 card (all Intel).
