    Ok couldn't get to a command prompt so I: -Booted into Ubuntu off a USB disk -Mounted the OSX partition as rw (this was a pain, google it for an answer - hfsplus) -Deleted the offending ktext It boots correctly now but it isn't as stable as before. I'm going to roll back the SMBios to 3,1.
